Srilanka, Oct. 19 -- Lurking high up in the rainforests of Madagascar is a soft, snowy-white primate who leaps gracefully from tree to tree. This is the Silky Sifaka, one of the most amazing and rare lemurs in the world. With its fluffy coat and long, bushy tail, it almost looks like a little Eskimo living high up in the trees and are sometimes called the "ghosts of the forest" by the locals.

Silky Sifakas are lemurs, a type of primate found only on the island of Madagascar. They have strong, long legs that help them jump up to 10 metres (33 feet) between trees.
