Sri Lanka, May 31 -- Chief Sangha Nayaka of the North Central Province and Chief Incumbent of the Ruwanweli Maha Seya Ven. Eethalawetunuwewe Gnanathilaka Thera has been appointed to cover the duties as the Atamasthanadhipathi by the Atamasthana Committee until legal proceedings against Ven. Pallegama Hemarathana Thera are concluded.

Atamasthana sources said that the administrative responsibilities of the Atamasthanaya will be carried out by Ven. Gnanathillaka Thera until the conclusion of the legal proceedings.
