Sri Lanka, Sept. 14 -- The Sri Lankan taxpayer doesn't have to bear the insult of being told that he or she doesn't pay taxes. A recent voice-cut video on social media shows a rant by a certain person who says he was appalled at the recent turn of events, (i.e the Ranil Wickremesinghe arrest and fallout) because the so-called moneyed classes paid the taxes for his education.

What can be said is that either this person had no education, or that his taxpayer-paid education was wasted on him.
