SriLanka, March 22 -- St. Joseph's College took major honours over traditional rivals St. Peter's College as their 92nd Battle of the Saints Inter-School three-day Big Match ended in a draw at the SSC Grounds in Maitland Place yesterday.
The Peterites were struggling at 215 for nine wickets when the match ended after the Josephians had declared at 190 for three while setting a victory target of 286 runs.
But any hopes of the Peterites at least getting close to that target soon disappeared when they collapsed to 32 for three wickets in 6.3 overs at the tea break.
