Sri Lanka, Sept. 14 -- Sri Lanka cleared their first hurdle in the ACC Men's T20 Asia Cup Cricket Tournament when they defeated Bangladesh by six wickets in their Group 'B' fixture played at the Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi, UAE yesterday.

Sri Lanka elected to field after winning the toss and restricted their opponents for 139 for five before chasing down that target with six wickets and 32 balls to spare.

Opener Pathum Nissanka led the run chase with a 34-ball fifty and also added 95 for the second wicket along with Kamil Mishara, who remained unbeaten on 46 from 32 balls with two sixes and four boundaries.
