Sri Lanka, Nov. 16 -- Most officials of the Sri Lanka Railways Department are highly educated, yet the Department's adoption of technology remains limited, Minister of Transport, Highways and Urban Development, Bimal Rathnayake told Parliament yesterday.

He said that despite the introduction of new technologies over the years, many have not been fully utilised. "A GPS system was introduced by a previous Government, but it is not being used properly," he said.
