Sri Lanka, Sept. 28 -- Japanese media reported yesterday that Sri Lanka and Japan would ink several pacts on defence, trade, investment and development assistance during the official visit of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake. President Dissanayake will hold bilateral talks with Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba tomorrow in Tokyo, possibly headlined by Sri Lanka's proposed inclusion in the Official Security Assistance (OSA) program for the first time. In fact, this would be the first time that a South Asian country is included in the OSA, which aims at enhancing defence cooperation within Asia.
