Sri Lanka, Feb. 8 -- Thousands of devotees gathered at the Gangaramaya Temple in Colombo over the weekend to pay homage to the sacred Devnimori Relics of the Buddha, brought from the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara, India, for a public exposition in Sri Lanka. The Indian High Commission said the exposition reflects India's civilisational link to Buddhism and the enduring spiritual and cultural ties between India and Sri Lanka.
