Sri Lanka, Oct. 12 -- Sri Lanka's Inoka Ranaweera snapped three wickets, including a double-wicket maiden before Nat Sciver-Brunt hit a superb run-a-ball 117 to help England reach a commanding 253 for nine in their ICC Women's Cricket World Cup fixture played at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo yesterday.
Sciver-Brunt was dismissed in the last over of the innings after she had battled for 157 minutes while hoisting two sixes and stroking nine boundaries after England were put into bat.
The double blows came not too long after Kaveesha Dilhari had held onto a brilliant return catch off her own bowling to dismiss Sophia Dunkley as Sri Lanka gave England a stern challenge in the early stages.
