Sri Lanka, Aug. 24 -- A special Police Week has been organised by the Police Department to mark the 159th Police Day on September 3.

Police Media Spokesman ASP F.U. Wootler said that the Police Week will raise public awareness on services of the Sri Lanka Police such as the Children and Women's Bureau, Criminal Record Division, K9 Unit, Mounted Division Unit and as well as the 118 and 118 Hotline. The Police Week will be held at the Police Field Force Headquarters in Colombo.
