PIC-Net to boost public sector digitisation
Sri Lanka, May 10 -- A new national initiative titled the Public Impact Champions Network (PIC-Net) has been launched to improve efficiency and service delivery across the public sector as part of Sri Lanka's broader Digital Economy Strategy.
Around 400 public officials will be trained and designated as "Digital Transformation Champions" to lead institutional-level reforms to improve service quality, process efficiency and technology adoption under the program.
The initiative has been communicated to all Ministry Secretaries, Provincial Chief Secretaries, Department Heads, and Chairpersons of State institutions through a circular by the Secretary to the President Nandika Sanath Kumanayake.
