Sri Lanka, Aug. 24 -- A special event was held at the Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation (SLBC) on Friday to mark veteran female vocalist Nanda Malini's 82nd birthday, where a studio was named after her. Her portrait was also unveiled on this occasion, in the presence of Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya, SLBC Chairman Prof. Uditha Gayashan Gunasekara and veteran singer Niranjala Sarojini and several other guests.
