Srilanka, Aug. 9 -- In line with the decision by Government Ministers not to occupy their official residences, the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development has called for proposals from interested parties for the productive economic utilisation of seven State-owned bungalows located within Colombo.

The decision stems from a Cabinet Paper presented on January 5 this year by President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, in his capacity as Minister of Finance, to initially provide 24 bungalows for productive utilisation under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model for a period of 30 years.
