Sri Lanka, Oct. 26 -- The Inland Revenue Department (IRD) will reach its revenue target this year as already around 75% of the total revenue has been collected, a senior official of the revenue department said.
Senior Deputy Commissioner IRD Nandana Kumara said the IRD is confident of reaching its revenue target this year going by the progress achieved during the first nine months this year.
The IRD set a tax revenue target of Rs. 2,195,220 million for 2025 and of that it has achieved Rs. 1,641,997 million so far which is about 75% of the total target.
