Srilanka, July 12 -- Forty Sri Lankan Administrative Service officers completed a two-week capacity-building program on disaster management at India's National Centre for Good Governance (NCGG), strengthening their expertise in disaster preparedness, early warning systems and crisis response strategies.

The 11th program under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between Sri Lanka and India in 2024 concluded on Friday. The MoU aims to train 1,500 Sri Lankan Administrative service officers over five-years, with 440 officers having completed training under the initiative so far.
