SriLanka, Sept. 13 -- Sri Lanka must accelerate its reform momentum and maintain prudent economic policies as it enters the final stage of its US$3 billion International Monetary Fund (IMF) Extended Fund Facility (EFF) programme, amid continued external and domestic risks, IMF Resident Representative to Sri Lanka Martha Woldemichael told a recent virtual forum in Colombo.

She said Sri Lanka's programme performance was generally strong but stressed that debt vulnerabilities remain high and that completing the debt restructuring and sustaining reforms will be critical to safeguarding macroeconomic stability.
