SriLanka, March 22 -- Traditional rivals St. Benedict's and Wesley College shared the honours in their annual Inter-School Big Match played for the Cartman Cup at the P. Sara Oval in Colombo yesterday. The Wesleyites, of course, had the satisfaction of taking a first innings lead over their opponents as they went on to make a formidable 257 for eight in the first innings. Jonathan Fernando went on to hit a top score of 76 while Skipper Rashmika Amararathna contributed a valuable 67 runs. The Bens batted in their second innings and reached 172 for six wickets when the match ended with Mihila Jayaweera compiling a solid 75.
