Sri Lanka, Aug. 3 -- Malaysian low-cost carrier, Batik Air (OD) will resume its year-round services to Colombo (CMB) from Kuala Lumpur (KUL) four times weekly from December 11. Boeing 737-800 aircraft will be deployed on this route.
The flight from KUL will leave at 0005 and land in CMB at 0105. The return flight will leave CMB at 0205 and touch down in KUL at 0825.
This will complement services by Malaysia Airlines (MH), Air Asia (AK) and SriLankan Airlines (UL) on this high density route. MH will deploy its Airbus A330 aircraft on this route three days a week from this month.
