Mysuru, Sept. 8 -- Adding to numerous FIRs at city Police Stations, another FIR has been registered at Kuvempunagar Police Station against Soundar Raj alias Chinnathambi, who is accused of cheating thousands of customers by luring them with advertisements offering gold loans at low interest rates and thus cheating them to the tune of crores of rupees after getting their gold ornaments pledged with him.

The FIR was registered following a complaint from B. Deepika and Shashikumar, residents of Sampige Layout in Bengaluru.
