Mandya, Sept. 18 -- Incident at Ummadahalli in Mandya

A 32-year-old woman died on the spot after the car in which she was travelling fell off from the Bengaluru-Mysuru Highway flyover near Ummadahalli in Mandya this morning.

The deceased has been identified as Anjana, a resident of Bengaluru. The incident occurred when Anjana along with her husband Harish and one of their friends Naveen were travelling towards Mysuru when the car hit the divider and fell off the flyover to the underpass.

While Anjana died on the spot, Harish and Naveen, who sustained injuries, were shifted to Mandya Institute of Medical Sciences (MIMS) for treatment.
