Undertrial stabbed in Madikeri jail succumbs to injuries
India, June 3 -- Madikeri, June 3 (KS)- An undertrial, who was allegedly stabbed at the District Central Prison in Madikeri and admitted to K.R. Hospital in Mysuru in a critical condition, has succumbed to injuries at the hospital yesterday night.The deceased is Hemanth (26), a resident of T. Shettigeri village in Ponnampet taluk. He was allegedly stabbed by his relative Rajesh, an undertrial in a murder case.Details: Hemanth, Jagadish, Indira, Ravi and Rajesh are relatives residing at T. Shettigeri village. About a week back, there was a scuffle between them over property and family issues and Srimangala Police had registered a case against four of them.
