Two Mysureans among four arrested for separate thefts
Mysuru, Sept. 1 -- Bilikere Police have cracked two separate theft cases and have arrested a total of four accused persons including two residents of Mysuru city.
In the first case, Vivek, aged 30 years and Ramu, 28 years, were arrested on the charges of theft that had occurred on Aug. 9 at Bettadur village.
The duo had allegedly stolen 14 new tyres of Madras Rubber Factory (MRF) company worth Rs. 4 lakh and transported the same on a goods vehicle.
The vehicle used for theft has also been seized by the Police.
In another case, Rs. 9 lakh worth gold valuables had been reportedly stolen from a house in Manuganahalli village.
Vishnu Rajagopal and Akash, natives of Kerala, were arrested in the case.
