Mysuru, Oct. 28 -- A tattoo on his hand helped the Talakad Police identify a highly decomposed body found floating in the river at Talakad yesterday afternoon.

The body was found around 4.30 pm and fished out by the Police. While photographing the body, the Police noticed a tattoo reading 'Mom & Dad I love you' on the deceased's hand.

They photographed the tattoo and shared it on a Police WhatsApp group to establish the man's identity.

Soon, Harohalli Police in Bengaluru South responded, identifying the deceased as K.N. Sunil (31). His wife, Rakshitha, had lodged a missing complaint at the Harohalli Police Station on Oct. 21.
