Mysore/Mysuru, May 14 -- Two-day khadi sales begin at DC Office

Following State Government's circular instructing the Government employees to wear khadi on first Saturdays of every month and during celebrations of national festivals including Gandhi Jayanthi among others, a two-day sale of khadi clothes began at the Deputy Commissioner's Office premises in Siddarthanagar here this morning.

The stalls were set up under the supervision of District Khadi Gramodyog Industries Officer Sharath Chandra at the corridors of the DC's Office.

Khadi Gramodyog Department has also announced a discount of 35 percent during the sale.
