Mysuru, Nov. 6 -- A two-wheeler rider who was seriously injured after a Mahindra Thar SUV rammed into his electric scooter on Gokulam Main Road in V.V. Mohalla on Oct. 29, succumbed to his injuries at a private hospital in the city this morning.

The deceased is M.Y. Jagadish (42), a resident of Tilaknagar.

On the afternoon of Oct. 29, Jagadish had left home on his electric scooter (KA-05-LV-7589) to attend a parent-teacher meeting at Nirmala Convent, where his daughter was studying.

While he was proceeding along Gokulam Main Road, a Mahindra Thar SUV (KA-10-M-6663), reportedly driven by Chinmay, allegedly came from a cross road at high speed and rammed into his scooter. The SUV also hit a car (KA-09-MK-7422).
