India, June 2 -- Mysuru, June 2 (GA&KS)- A student, who opened the link of an advertisement in Instagram, has lost Rs. 10,17,580 to online fraudsters.
The student, who lost her money is Archana (name changed), a resident of Hosabandikeri, K.R. Mohalla in city.
Archana, while browsing her Instagram account came across an advertisement and clicked on the link displayed in the advertisement. Soon, she received a message on her WhatsApp pertaining to Work From Home (WFH) and Archana's details were also collected.
She later received a message which stated that Rs. 10 per review would be given to her for providing ratings for hotels and restaurants and a link was sent to the student on her Telegram app.
