Mysore/Mysuru, April 4 -- Adding a new dimension to Mysuru's rich musical heritage, for the first time, a Hindustani vocal performance has been recorded at Mysuru Akashvani for Akashvani's National Music Programme.

As part of the Ravivasariya Akhila Bharatiya Sangeet Sabha series, city-based Vidushi Shrimathi Devi from Kergalli presented a Hindustani vocal concert.

She was accompanied by Sumit Nayak on tabla and Prasad Kamath on harmonium. The programme will be broadcast nationwide on all Akashvani Stations on Apr. 5 at 10 pm.
