Mysuru, Sept. 22 -- MCC Commissioner inspects road quality, asphalt thickness

In view of the upcoming Dasara festival, the Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) has taken up road asphalting works on key routes in the city to welcome tourists and dignitaries.

Among the major works is the stretch of Sayyaji Rao Road from K.R. Circle to Agrahara, being taken up at a cost of Rs. 13 crore. The existing road dividers along the stretch have been completely removed to facilitate fresh asphalting, which has already begun.

The project also includes repair and development of footpaths along the route. Signboards displaying details of the project, including the timeline and budget, have been installed at the site.
