With the District Road Safety Committee flagging road safety concerns and identifying accident black spots on key roads in the city, the Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) has installed permanent concrete road medians on three main roads coming under MCC Zone-7.

The works have been taken up as a road safety measure ahead of the Dasara festivities, with tourists and vehicles expected to arrive in large numbers during the 11-day festival.
