Mysuru, Aug. 14 -- Former MLA and City BJP President L. Nagendra has said that party workers will stage an overnight protest across the State on Monday (Aug. 17) if Ballari Rural MLA B. Nagendra, who has been inducted into the Ministry of Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar, is not sacked from the Cabinet.

Addressing media persons at the City BJP Office in Chamarajapuram, Nagendra said that Minister B. Nagendra was previously a Minister in Siddaramaiah's Cabinet and was arrested on charges of his involvement in multi-crore irregularities in the Karnataka Maharshi Valmiki Scheduled Tribes Development Corporation. He is yet to get a clean chit in the case, but has been made a Minister again.
