I am writing to raise a serious concern regarding the drainage system in Naidu Nagar 3rd Stage, which has been facing frequent blockages. Despite repeated requests, no proper response or action has been taken by the Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) officials concerned.

The officer in charge has shown a careless attitude and shockingly, residents are being asked to pay Rs. 6,000 per house for repair work. This raises a fundamental question: Why should we pay separately when we are already paying taxes regularly?

Such practices reflect corruption and misuse of authority. Citizens should not be forced to pay bribes or extra charges for basic civic amenities.
