Mysuru, Aug. 23 -- MLC Raghu Kautilya demands MDA

Maintaining that the State Government passed an order cancelling the allotment of 1,100 alternative sites which were sanctioned on 50:50 ratio basis by the erstwhile MUDA (now renamed as MDA), fearing that the matter would come for a debate in the upper house during the ongoing State Legislature session, BJP MLC Raghu Kautilya questioned the Government on when it would physically take back (reclaim) the now cancelled sites.

Addressing a press meet at the city BJP office in Chamarajapuram here yesterday, Raghu alleged that the State order had not technically mentioned the sites as allotted under 50:50 ratio basis, in order to benefit the illegal beneficiaries of alternative sites.
