India, Aug. 10 -- The Social Welfare Department has invited applications from SC community students, who have hitherto not registered in SSP portal and also from those who are not getting scholarship despite registration due to various reasons, for availing pre-matric student scholarship. The annual income of parents of 1st to 8th standard students should not exceed Rs. 6 lakh and that of parents of 9th and 10th standard students should not exceed Rs. 2.5 lakh.
