Mysuru, Oct. 9 -- A water bottle stuck under the brake pedal caused a serial accident involving four cars on the Mysuru-Hunsur Highway this morning, damaging all the vehicles and bringing traffic to a halt during peak hours.

The accident occurred at 10.30 am between B.M. Hospital signal and the St. Joseph's School signal near Temple Road. The incident is a reminder of how even a small object rolling under the brake pedal can lead to accidents. According to eyewitnesses and the Police, a silver Maruti Suzuki Baleno (KA-09-MM-0730) was coming down the slope from the Hunsur side towards St. Joseph's School signal when the traffic light turned red.
