Mysore/Mysuru, April 1 -- MCC revises water tariff; hikes Property Tax by 3%; introduces vehicle cess
The financial burden on residents within Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) limits has increased from today (Apr. 1) with the Civic Body revising drinking water tariffs and raising several other civic charges.
Property tax, trade licence and Solid Waste Management (SWM) charges have been hiked, while a motor vehicle cess has also been introduced for automobile owners.
Revised water charges
Following directions from the Directorate of Municipal Administration, MCC has revised drinking water tariffs. The minimum monthly charge has been increased to Rs. 163.
