Mysuru, Aug. 10 -- Mysore Artists Association is organising a programme titled 'Janaki Namana' on Aug.12 at 5 pm in Kalamandira premises in city in memory of legendary multi-lingual singer S. Janaki, who recently died in Mysuru.

Addressing a press conference at Pathrakarthara Bhavan in city, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa mentor and singer Suchithan Rangaswamy said the popular songs of S. Janaki will be presented at the programme by about 20 singers including renowned singers Manasa Holla, Usha Kokila, Raksha Aravind, Amulya, Rashmi Dharmendra, Hamsini, Divya Purushotham and Mahendar.

Film actor Vasishta Simha, MLAs K. Harishgowda and T.S. Srivatsa, former MLA S.R. Mahesh and former MUDA Chairman H.V. Rajeev will be the chief guests on the occasion.
