Mysuru, Aug. 29 -- Urban Development Minister Dr. Yathindra Siddaramaiah has clarified that residential sites allotted under the controversial 50:50 ratio scheme by the erstwhile Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA - now rebranded as Mysuru Development Authority - MDA) between 2019 and 2023 will also be cancelled, leaving no ambiguity.

Speaking to reporters after welcoming Dasara elephants at Mysore Palace yesterday, the Minister said 1,100 sites allotted under the 50:50 ratio scheme had already been cancelled and that the Government was now preparing a list of sites and houses allotted between 2019 and 2023.
