India, June 9 -- Mysuru - In response to the action plan to collect pending penalties of Rs. 642,09,76,200 sought by Principal District and Sessions Court Judge K.N. Usharani, Superintendent of Police (SP) Mallikarjun Baladandi said that Police officials are creating awareness at the taluk level as part of the drive.
He said, information is also being disseminated through the 'Mane Mane Police' programme, Police beats and social media platforms.
He added that vehicle owners can voluntarily check their pending traffic fines, while Police teams are also taking action to recover dues from habitual offenders and those deliberately avoiding payment by tracing them.
