Mysuru, Aug. 8 -- Incident near Mysuru-Bengaluru Highway entry point

The Mysuru South Police have arrested four persons in connection with a dacoity reported near Kempegowda Circle (Manipal Hospital Junction) near the entrance of Mysuru-Bengaluru Highway in city on Aug. 2.

According to the complaint lodged by Vinay of J.P. Nagar, the incident occurred around 10 pm when he was returning in a car from a function at Aarathi Ukkada in Pandavapura. When Vinay reached the Manipal Hospital signal, a man and a woman stopped his vehicle and sought a lift to Sathagalli signal. He agreed to drop them. However, when the vehicle reached the service road, 2 two-wheelers carrying four men intercepted it.
