Mysuru, Sept. 7 -- The Kuvempu Institute of Kannada Studies (KIKS), coming under University of Mysore (UoM) and located in Manasagangothri campus, has got its own logo encrypted with the words 'Kannadave Sathya, Kannadave Nithya' as a befitting tribute to Kuvempu, in whose name the Institute has been established.

KIKS, established in 1966, has marked its 60th anniversary with the launch of this own logo. The entrance arch of the Institute, now bears this new logo on one side and that of UoM on the other side. The new logo is two-and-a-half feet in height. Apart from the logo, the Institute's entry gate is fitted with LED lights, which attracts the passersby.
