Mysore/Mysuru, May 3 -- As there seems to be no end to the power struggle between Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and his Deputy D.K. Shivakumar over the CM's post, State BJP President and MLA B.Y. Vijayendra said that AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge seems to have put in his towel too, going by his statement that the date of change of leadership has not yet been decided.

Speaking to media persons after seeking the blessings of Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji in Suttur Mutt at the foot of Chamundi Hill here yesterday, Vijayendra maintained that Kharge's statement is an indicator that he too is in the race for the CM's chair, for which post Siddaramaiah and D.K. Shivakumar have continued their tussle.
