Mysuru, Sept. 6 -- Seshadripuram Degree College, Hebbal, Mysuru, in association with the IQAC and NSS Unit, took an active initiative to clean the historic Kalyani at Doddamaragowdanahalli in Yelwal, Mysuru district, recently.

Around 42 NSS volunteers actively participated in the cleaning drive. The Kalyani, which is more than 200 years old, had been completely covered with weeds, unwanted trees and other overgrown vegetation.

The volunteers undertook the task of clearing the accumulated weeds and unwanted plants and restoring the surroundings of the historic water structure.
