Mysuru, Oct. 7 -- With Mysuru Dasara festivities approaching, the Chamundeshwari Electricity Supply Corporation (CESC) has stepped up preparations to ensure uninterrupted power supply and smooth illumination.

CESC Managing Director M.S. Archana said, electrical decoration and other system-readiness works are being taken up in a coordinated manner at major Dasara venues and across the city.

She instructed officials and staff to ensure the quality and safety of cables, control panels, distribution boxes and other electrical equipment. Loose connections, exposed wires and other unsafe arrangements should be rectified immediately, she said.
