Mysuru, Aug. 28 -- A gang of five men, posing as Crime Branch Police, who barged into an apartment, allegedly threatened women in the apartment and made away with their mobile phones. The incident took place at an apartment in Sharadadevinagar on Aug. 25.
At about 1.30 pm on Aug. 25, when three women were sitting in the apartment premises and talking, five men, covering their face with masks, barged into the apartment and began recording videos of the women on their mobile phones.
When the women questioned them and asked their identities, the men reportedly told the women that they were Crime Branch Police personnel from Saraswathipuram Police Station besides stating that they had received information that they (women) were running a fles...
