India, Feb. 14 -- The Women and Child Development Department has invited entries from talented children for presentation of 'Makkala Pustaka Chandira' Book Award (2024 - 2025).
Children can send their entries under 7 categories of Child Literature - self composed poem, collection of stories, plays, collection of science articles, translated work, critical review and novel - along with 4 copies of their work to: The Planning Officer, Karnataka Bala Vikasa Academy, behind Chandrika Layout, KHB Colony, Lakamanahalli, Dharwad-580004, before Feb.20.
The Academy has also invited entries from children for Bala Gourava for 2024-25 & 2025-26.
