Mysore/Mysuru, Aug. 18 -- Taluk-level sports to be held before Aug. 25; District-level events by Sept. 1 and Divisional-level by Sept. 10

Dasara Sports Meet this year will be held from Sept. 22 to 25 at Chamundi Vihar Stadium in Nazarbad, stated a press release from the Commissioner, Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports (DYES).

Accordingly, the Taluk-level Dasara Sports will be held by Aug. 25, District-level Dasara Sports by Sept. 1 and Divisional-level by Sept. 10.

For Divisional-level events, the authorities have formed five divisions - Bengaluru Urban, Bengaluru Rural, Kalaburagi, Mysuru and Belagavi - to provide equal opportunities for the athletes.
