Mysuru, Oct. 1 -- Srirangapatna MLA and Chamundeshwari Electricity Supply Corporation (CESC) Chairman Rameshbabu Bandisiddegowda has directed agencies to complete ongoing underground (UG) cable installation in Mysuru by Oct. 5.

Chairing a review meeting at the CESC office on Tuesday, he instructed officials to meet the deadline and ensure 100 percent restoration of all sites where cable works have been undertaken.

He warned that no leniency would be shown and that action would be taken against those responsible if works were not completed within the stipulated time.

Expressing displeasure at roads and footpaths left dug up, Bandisiddegowda directed officials to close all pits, clear debris and dispose of it properly without delay. He a...
