This is in continuation of the representation submitted earlier by the residents of Sharadadevinagar on Mar. 3, 2026, regarding the severe encroachment of the footpath in front of the LIC Branch Office on New Kantharaj Urs Main Road.

We would like to strongly reiterate that the footpath along this stretch has been completely occupied by vendors, forcing pedestrians to walk on the main road and putting their safety at serious risk.

Senior citizens, children and persons with disabilities are among the worst affected. The footpath, meant exclusively for pedestrians, has become virtually unusable, defeating its very purpose.
