Mysore/Mysuru, Oct. 16 -- A case has been registered at Kuvempunagar Police Station against City Armed Reserve (CAR) Head Constable Channakeshava, his wife Mamatha and five trustees of Gurukalpa Trust for allegedly defrauding a local educationist of Rs. 7.45 lakh under the pretext of appointing him as Vice-Principal and trustee of a PU college.
The complainant, Sunil, founder of Akshara Foundation and a prominent figure in the education sector, alleged that Channakeshava lured him with an offer to join Vishwamanava PU College as Vice-Principal.
According to Kuvempunagar Inspector Yogesh, the college, administered by Gurukalpa Trust - run by Channakeshava, Mamatha and other trustees - is located in Ramakrishnanagar.
