Mysuru, Sept. 9 -- Transformation of 80 Garbage Vulnerable Points

Marking the 80th Independence Day, the Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) transformed 80 identified Garbage Vulnerable Points (GVPs) across nine city zones into clean and attractive public spaces as part of a major cleanliness drive.

Officials, environmental engineers, health inspectors, supervisors, civic workers and drivers who contributed to the initiative were felicitated at a ceremony held at the MCC yesterday.

Among the GVPs, the one at Gokulam Crematorium in Zone-4 won the first prize. The GVPs at C.V. Road in Zone-7 and Sathagalli Ring Road in Zone-9 secured the second prize.
